Upon registration, all competitors will be asked to indicate a parking preference.  Parking options will include the following, with ample parking facilities reserved for each:

·        Trailer parking for crews registering and bringing at least one 8+ or at least two 4+/4x boats

·        Car-top parking for crews/competitors transporting their boat via roof rack

·        Other for crews and competitors using neither of the above options.  Examples would include crews sharing trailer space with another program which has registered for trailer parking, or crews borrowing equipment from other programs.

Trailers:  Parking for trailers will be on a first-come, first-served basis, however there will be sufficient parking available for all trailers in lots adjacent to the launch location. Trailer parking passes will allow crews to drop off trailers at any time (even when the road is closed) and, for those crews who unhitch and leave the trailer in the guarded lot, to return with their tow vehicle during the race day after their events are completed to remove the trailer.

Car-top:  Competitors transporting equipment via car-top will receive a parking pass allowing them access to necessary drop-off and pick-up areas.  There will be an area designated for unloading equipment at the intersection of River Road and Harbor Drive; after unloading, competitors will be directed to parking facilities located nearby.  After parking their vehicle, competitors may move their equipment to a suitable setup location near the launch ramp area.  After racing, competitors may load their equipment at the same location used for drop-off, with quick highway access available from that location.

All competitors and programs registering for parking passes will receive their parking passes from a Regatta official upon arrival at the Regatta site.

Buses & Cars: Separate designated areas will be designated for the unloading and parking of buses.  Special designated parking areas have also been set aside for spectators and competitors; for many of those lots there will be shuttle bus service available.  Signs will be positioned in these areas to aid in the parking process.
